Tariffs
At the more luxury end of Halls Gap, Grampians accommodation, our goal is to nonetheless provide guests with very competitive pricing. In accord with this, the below rates are all inclusive and here are no extra charges for firewood, cleaning, laundry etc.
$238 per night mid week (Monday-Wednesday)
$248 per night (Thursday & Sunday)
$294 per night (Friday & Saturday)
$325 per night for public holidays.
We have a standard 2 night minimum stay.
Public holidays have a 3 or 4 night minimum stay.
One night stays may be are available for dates where there is a single night between existing bookings.Single nights are charged at weekend rate.

Policies and Notes
Security Deposit: we have a $140 security deposit that we withdraw prior to the arrival of a guest. This is returned within 4 working days of a guests departure. We are (very) pleased to say that in six years of owning and managing Escape, only twice has there been occasion to withhold any part of a security deposi. t.
Check in and check out: check in is at 3:00pm and check out is at 11:00am. This is self regulatory and respecting these times is appreciated. Our check out is an hour later than many (11:00am is much more civilised than 10am, I think) but this does leave only a small window of time between check out and check in of the next guests to coordinate cleaners and any maintenance or deliveries.
General House Rules: yes, they are definitely general and really amount to not much more than respecting and looking after Heavenly Escape in the manner we think it deserves. Please do report any damage and we appreciate it if you put rubbish out and if you run the dishwasher before you leave.
Kids: whilst we have set up Escape with adults in mind, babies are welcome if parents have travel cots etc. It is not so long ago that we had little kids ourselves!
Four legged friends: our general rule is that we do not accept pets, but we are animal lovers and have made exceptions. Please do remember that animals are not allowed in the park, our property nis unfenced and home to many native species. This said, our simple rule when pets do come is that when the cleaner comes through, there must be no evidence of anything more than human habitation, so please just take a couple of extra steps before leaving.
Payment & Cancellation
Payment: we take a 50% deposit to confirm a booking and process the balance along with a security deposit approximately one weeks before arrival. As noted above, security deposits are returned within 4 working days.
Cancellation: please note the however bit. We found that when we had a more flexible / lenient policy we seemed to attract too many speculative bookings which presented challenges administratively and in terms of filling dates. Our policy now is quite strict but we have balanced this in a way that we feel still benefits the guest, based on the premise that we have no intention on ‘double dipping’. On this basis, our policy: for cancellations more than a month before arrival, a 100% refund. For cancellations within a month of arrival, forfeiture of deposit, and for cancellations within a week of staying, guests risk forfeiting the full amount of their stay. However for any cancellations which might lead to a loss of payment, should the dates rebook to an alternative guest, we refund an amount to the original guest reflecting the amount received for the new booking. This may or may not be equal to the value of the original booking, simply because as the days get closer we will reduce tariffs to try to ensure some return to the original guest. Simply – whilst we do not want to lose income because of last minute cancellations, we have no intention of ‘charging twice’ for any nights. Heavenly Escape is very popular and books very heavily and on this basis we have often been able to return a large part, if not all of a cancelling guest’s payment.
COVID cancellations: should government restrictions, state or national, prohibit travel to the Grampians then we give guests a 100% refund for any cancellation before the day of arrival, even if it is on the same day.
